To Outerspace from the Land of Wine.

So everyone knows Lights Out Theatre Company, right?  Sure you do!  You probably know us from tons of dancing, singing the B-52’s at karaoke nights, considering everything B.Y.O.B. (even when it might not be), and our love of acronyms.  Just another night out at the bar with Lights Out!  Well kids, these are also a few of the hits of our upcoming production, Song For A Future Generation or SFAFG (whammo! There’s an acronym) by Joe Tracz.  As a founding ensemble member of LOTC (acronym), I have had the privilege to work on everything that we’ve done thus far and have had an excellent time doing it!  This production is no exception.

Just about two weeks into our rehearsal process, we’re already having a blast and coming up with some really awesome things for the audience.  We just want to knock every one’s sock’s off and make sure they have a good time with this show.  The premise of this play is basically a dance party, on a space shuttle, orbiting a star that’s about to explode.

So, I ask you, if you had your druthers, instead of for once getting wasted at a party and making an ass out of yourself, wouldn’t you just like to watch everyone else do that?  And, not be called a fuddy duddy for doing so?  AND INCORPORATE LASER GUNS??  Well, I thought so.  That’s what you’ll get if you come see Song For A Future Generation.  It’s been loads of fun to work on already, and I’m sure that I’m only going to find more opportunities to almost piddle during a rehearsal because my cast mates are so god damned funny.  Oh, and by the way, if you do come to the show I will LYLAS (that’s an acronym for “Love You Like A Sister.”  Parenthesis comedy comes in threes).

Yours forever,
Haily Wineland
